Dont Bother

Don't Bother

I am getting tired of these guys spittin game
It's all starting to sound the same
Half or more are married or committed
But of course the truth was omitted
Pretending to want more
When it's really only my body they want to explore
Sorry, I am just not that easy
It takes some true effort to please me
And what happened to chivalry
What's up with guys approach, literally
Can I please have some respect
From the door your intentions I can detect
I am really starting to get irritated
When any approach is illustrated
My excuse may be awkward
I truly don't even want to be bothered

ok, first it sucks to be treated like that...and those are def not the guys you want...the verse rips it...tight rhyme scheme...almost kinda a rap...i like it.

That was an awesome one! Honestly, I've been that guy (at times) - but I'm always respectful. But it's true, who wants to be bothered?? It's mostly for sport and flirting, but you make me reevaluate...

How would you feel if the attention stopped?? My gf gets a lot of attention too...she says it wouldn't bother her if it stopped, but I think she enjoys the attention. I think it's a love/hate relationship with the attention...

honestly guys seem 2 approach like that because some women enjoy the attention. I'm not the cat calling type, but I've seen women who enjoy the attention being placed on them. It truly won't stop until it's totally rejected. Great Post!

Yea, tell me about it Brian...

Well E, as long as your respectful I am not bothered...I mean a little conversation is nice...I will respond nicer when approached with respect...If I am not interested I will say I am in a relationship if I am or not lol...

Exactly Champ, Thats why some guys think its acceptable. Because some women like it and allow it...If he treats you like that from the first meeting, he will through out the relationship...Champ, even when its rejected...It continues....I think a lot of it is because of where I live at...but still...I HATE it...

Tell them you "no speak uh duh goddamn English!"

It is annoying and I think that some men actually think we will be flattered with that weak ass approach that they put absolutely NO thought into. You should make you some cards with this blog link and tell them "here, I wrote a piece about you...you should check it out in your free time".

Since everyone is seems to me to be taking the easy way out...

... I recall in my 20's, when my body was ripped and in supercalifragilstic condition, it seemed that the only women who would dare approach me were obvious (at least to me and my eldest daughter) no hope kind of women (and the occasionaly guy!!) But like press, I don't think there is ever anything bad about attention.

Want to court SPECIFIC kinds of attention? That depends on what a person does to make them attractive to the kind of attention that they seek, you feel me?

Having the ones who I didn't want taking snaps let me know I had something to market... the problem was I did not market what I had to right target audience. Once I did... bam, zoom!!

Take care, sweetie!

Hi JStar,

I pray the right one meets you. Love certainly isn't easy but there is someone out there for you. Take Care :)

Yeah, it's rough out there. But I handle it by realizing that it's men like them that make it easier to spot the ones who are worth my while.

You know how long it's been since I've heard the term "spitting game" ? I didn't know it's still used.

I totally agree with this post ! I seem to attract all the fucking married dudes, and it sucks !

The reason men hoot and holler at you like that is because they are lazy AND they know that if they keep on hitting on everything that walks by like that with minimal effort, eventually some chick will fall for it. It's all a numbers game.

Any man, no matter who he is or who he thinks he is, has to, I mean, HAS to feel this poem.

Excellent way to express yourself, Jstar.

I commend.
