My reservations and hesitations totally ignore
I know I haven’t allowed myself to completely let go
Allowing emotions to reach its plateau
I have been scared to give in
Terrified to truly begin
Kissing you takes things to a new height
Setting a blaze my fears to ignite
Trusting you entirely
Releasing to you my heart in its entirety
Unleashing feelings never felt
While insecurities continue to melt
Demonstrate without words but with actions
Not allowing for any distractions
Feeling again that pure love actually exists
All of these feelings set free just by your loving kiss

I agree, kissing is so intimate. Even more so than some other things. :)
Most Def Gregorio!!!! Kissing to me is more intimate than anything...but kissing while ya know, makes it more intense than anything I have ever felt...A kiss to me is so sacred...
Beautiful poem. It's good to guard some things in your heart and like you said, makes it more intense when experienced...
However, I've seen some women who will do everything (& I do mean EVERYTHING) and will turn their head at a kiss, some don't like direct eye contact... The reason gave is b/c it's too intimate. Ummmm...I just had my blank on your blank, but a kiss is too intimate? LOL
I'm joking, but also I guess "sex" is "sex", but some things symbolize "love" in particular women's hearts. Thanks for the insight thru your poem.
Women are extremely guarded in certain ways, and I suppose it is good if that special man knows the territory he is treading on & acts accordingly...(I'll stop writing now)
So true E...But I have been raped before so I know how to block the just sex part of it...This is is so intimate....and yea, I have turned my head so many times lol...Yea, I still have issues with the eye contact thing...Esp during that moment...I close my eyes lol...and yea when the kiss is experienced...It makes that moment extermley intense in the feelings dept for me...
